But, as your woodworker matures in her craft she may wish to work with new and innovative furniture designs, or apply design to composites and other new materials. Then that high school physics or calulus and trigonometry may give her the insights and tools to truely realize a dream. No one can really tell. That student shouldn't be allowed to think the more challengeing classes will not be of benefit, or that they are to be avoided because low grades will hurt career development.
