Sigh.........

Not a word about school libraries in the state that the First Lady's
convocation uses as the example of information failure.

Lots of talk that fits right into WASC's concept of "qualitative measure"
while states with quantitative standards deliver students who have become
lifelong learners. WASC asks, "How do you feel about yourselves?" We
respond, "We feel GOOD about ourselves!" and hope they go away for 6 years.
Have any of your participants actually crossed a state border to see how the
other 49 do it? Or are we satisfied to outdo Guam?
