RE: Student Learning

I would like to underscore the importance of valuing learning styles, especially learning disabilities and children with special needs. Not all children will have the academic skills to go on to a University and we need respect those who take a different path. New York offers several different High School diplomas with different exit exams that match and respect the needs of a variety of children. California's exit exams does not and thus does not truly value the diverse needs of our students.
