accountability

Accountability throughout the system in student learning is essential.  Education is what produces social mobility, essential to maintaining this country's economic position.  Community colleges do not receive the funding or credit for the the job they do in providing social mobility in our higher education and economic worlds. Let's be sure that we give equity in the Master Plan to the changes that not only improve high school performance, but also improve funding and governance of the community colleges system on par with the U.C. and C.S.U. systems.
