JUDITH JAMES: I AGREE WITH YOUR PRECIOUS INSIGHT '; nor have we
revised our hiring standards to ensure prospective educators
(K-16) possess those qualifications that will stimulate ALL
students with diverse learning styles TO WANT TO LEARN and
ultimately SUCCEED.'
AND IF ANY BODY NEEDS ANY FURTHER MOTIVATION BEYOND MORALITY,
LET'S RECOGNIZE THAT BY THE YEAR 2010, WE CALIFORNIA RETIREES
WILL BE 3/4'S ANGLO, OUR WORK FORCE WILL BE 2/3'S PERSONS OF
COLOR. SO OUR OLD AGE SECURITY DEPENDS UPON OUR EDUCATING - TO
THEIR FULLEST POTENTIAL, EACH CALIFORNIA CHILD OF COLOR.
THAT MEANS WE MUST APPRECIATE, WELCOME, AND RELATE COMFORTABLY
WITH ALL FORMS OF DIVERSITY, AS WELL AS GROW TO KNOW AND
APPRECIATE THE EMERGING RESEARCH REGARDING 'MULTIPLE
INTELLIGENCES.
