LINDA NOWELL: I AGREE WITH YOUR (THE PURPOSE OF 'Our classrooms
was to become places in which problems are posed, examined, and
solved. This requires skills in literacy and math, but also it
provides opportunities to underscore the relevance of the
disciplines in our everyday lives.'
EVEN MORE, IT REQUIRES CREATION OF AN ENVIRONMENT IN WHICH A
CHILD FEELS SAFE AND WELCOME TO INQUIRE AND EXPLORE, AS WELL AS A
RELATIONSHIP WITH A TEACHER WHO IS INSPIRING OR THE CHILD'S
CURIOSITY.
