What are the costs of failing to provide a quality
education to all of our young people and all those
adults who need retraining and skills development?
What are the costs of California's transformation
into a penal colony? Every time I drive up to the
Bay Area, there seems to be another prison.
A real commitment to real education would transform
the state. Education breaks mental, psychological
and in some cases even physical chains.
