When we found that teachers were telling us they needed more
administrative support to be able to make real changes (not to mention
that our NSF site visitors observed the same thing:-) we developed a
relationship with the group that helps with training for administrators.
Both they and the principals have been delighted to get something of an
"outside" perspective on technology and related issues, and we've even had
some encouraging leadership within the group that we hope will develop
into the same kind of collaborative community we've been helping to
facilitate among the teachers.
