In 1983 the Congress passed, and President Reagan signed a law that increased FICA taxes. Somebody noted a problem, and a band-aid was applied! Sixteen (16) years later the Congress folks are still dancing around the issue.
To boot, the Congressional participants contributions (posted messages) aren't on the same page as the citizen's commentary; time passes, but nothing changes!
