The return volley of socialist rhetoric scares me . . it scares me how so many of you expect others that work hard to pay for your retirement because you are lazy. Okay, maybe it isn't you--maybe you just "feel the pain" of the elderly and are willing to pay for them. Fine, but why FORCE me to?
Saving my Socialist security charity over the next 40 years would give me a net investment of between 1 and 2 MILLION dollars depending on average growth. I would then pay MORE in capital gains tax than I would have paid into the system--AND I would still have my MILLION left over. Privitization would allow both you and the government to come out ahead.
But no . . we Americans are stuck with the philosophy "from each according to his ability, to each according to his need." Sickening.
