RE: Welcome to the Roundtable on Options for Reform

The economic/economy of scale thesis is a little dense for those
of us who are macro-economics challenged, but what did come through
loud and clear and without much equivocation is that our current
political courage quotient, or more appropriately lack thereof,
will stymie anything in its path. We've already heard from the
Congressional kingpins that SS Reform is out of the picture until
presumably we elect a nice right minded President. I have been
seeking some in depth information re Sen. DeWine from Ohio to tie
in the Older Americans Act, because barring an economic collapse
of greater than historic proportions affluent retirees are home
free (figuratively speaking). They now must only be concerned with
some pre-emptive grave robbing from the medical/pharmaceutical
industry because they are debt free, market risk free and either
have the needed funds for high stock management fees or have shopped
for better bargains. All us small bit players cumulatively have
some say in things, but only if our retirement "vehicles" are road
worthy for our lifetime. I still have not heard another voice in
the wilderness regarding the millions of non-contributory earners
who have private club privileges like Federal employees, most
notably Congress itself. How can Federal functionaries possibly
make objective judgments and decisions when they are part of the
problem rather than the solution? Let's get into Strom Thurmond's
pocket today, before it's too late! I will be locked into
info@sscommonsense.org & the associated website. Thanks.
