Re: Question on Charity

Social Security is a tax that is taken from a person's wage with the
origional understanding that it would be returned to the wage earner
upon their retirement. The amount taken from a wage is based upon a
formula and the amount returned to the payer is based upon that same
scale. How than can we, in fairness to the payor, give more back to
those who gave less and less to those who gave more?
