With respect to saving, I think you have to admit that a lot of people simply don't have the extra cash to save much if anything.
Of course once in awhile you hear about the scrub lady who saved a million, but not very often. This is a place where the regressive wage tax is a major contributor to a failure to save. I still say, if you can tax wages, you can tax wealth. George
