Before we start messing with the present system, I propose that all of the monies that have been stolen for the Social Security fund plus accrued interest be totaled and returned to the SS coffiers. Once this is done, the future may not be as scary as has been predicted. Our government must not have the right to rob from peter to pay paul. If we have the monies to build a multimillion airplane or a rocket or fund a study to determine the sex life of an amobia, then we can certinaly return the SS program to fiscal prosperity. Put the monies back!!!
