Wealth and Social Security

The total wealth of everybody living in the US today is somewhere around $50 trillion dollars. This corresponds to a wealth per capita of almost $200,000. (For a population of 250 million.) Also, it comes out to a total of about $500,000 per family. With resources of this magnitude, there is really no reason why anybody in the US should go hungry or not have the necessities of life.
