conflict of interest

Clearly Prudential as a retailer of annuities has an interest in
having Social Security privatized into individual accounts.

The fees and profits that could be reaped from such accounts would
be enormous for Prudential.

This whole project doesn't even avoid the appearance of impropriety.
So, does ADSS support privatization like Prudential does? All of
the materials sure read like it.

[Moderator's Note: This is certainly a valid question to ask.
In a separate message I'll attach a statement from Prudential
on their role and on the outlook of Information Renaissance
on the topic of Social Security reform. The materials from
ADSS have been prepared with an effort to maintain balance.
Any such effort is subject to criticism, but the efforts of
ADSS have been praised by groups across the political spectrum.]
