I ordered the book and read much of it. It was helpful to see confirmations
and reminders of ideas I was familiar with.
I emailed Senators Boxer, Feinstein and Sen. Daschle to the effect that even
though the current bill under discussion in the Senate would be only
partially effective and for a limited time, something is definitely better
than nothing, and is necessary to show that the President and Congress really
do care.
I believe that people, not money, should be heard, and elections should be
financed with public funds and free TV time. I hope that if laws are
challenged that the Supreme Court will not be bound by previous rulings,
considering the fact that TV is now such an important factor in current
elections and therefore the cost of TV time must be considered in such a way
that "big" money does not win elections by default.
Thanks for your good efforts.
Sincerely,
