As we begin to close out our discussion about Choice 1, it is helpful to think about ways that we can capture what we have learned, what our shared understanding or common ground is about the choice and any unfinished business we would pursue with more time. This is the first of a series of questions to help us bring choice 1 to a closure so that we can move on to Choice 2 ready to look at the issue through a slightly different lens.
What have you learned from your fellow participants and how, if at all, has that changed or informed the way that you think about this choice? Even if your own thinking about the choice hasn't changed, do you have a different understanding of those who hold a very different perspective? What common "motivations" or concerns do you share with people who think differently than you?
