More Regulations

I do not believe that more regulations/laws for campaign
financing will be helpful.  I believe the laws we have now are
abused and that through loopholes and cracks people and
organizations get around the existing campaign contribution
regulations.  I am willing to consider and find a way to
effectively implement a process and system whereby all candidates
receive free "prime time" television/radio time to publicize
their candidacy.  The specifics of how much time, how frequently,
etc. would have to be discussed.  I think this could be helpful
in deterring the high cost of campaigning as these announcements
cost so much.  Would this really make a difference?  On the
surface, it appears to me that it would be helpful.  What do you
think of this possiblity for helping to change the high cost of
campaigning?
