While I don't completely agree with this choice, I do think that there are some good thoughts that could lead to a acceptable solution to this problem. I think that free air time for the candidates is an idea that if the specifics were worked out would be be a great option. I don't think that someone with no backing should be given a commercial every five minutes, but if the third party candidates who have support should be allowed to participate in debates so that we can run our elections the way they were intended to be run and not have a two party system.

I don't think that we should be limiting private donations because I feel that you should be allowed to support your candidate in whatever way you chose and if you have the means, you should definetly be allowed to donate money towards your candidates campaign. It is for this reason that I don't think that the government should fund campaigns. If a candidate can't get enough funding on their own than it's obvious that the people don't support them.

I wouldn't say that I support choice number one, but as I said earlier it has some good parts that could lead toward the best option.
