Nina, I have to agree with you - when my freedom to learn about the candidates is controlled by, or at least very heavily influenced by some corporation or special interest's money, it is *my* freedom that suffers. I don't want to be sold a candidate, I want to know what they intend for, bring to, and portend for the office and my life.
My freedom doesn't necessarily stop where someone else's purse strings begin.
