Denise, your words stopped me. They were very much on target. You said "No one TRULY believes any longer, that a candidate can survive, with his values intact, and in order to go to Washington, he has to put his soul on the auction block, to the highest bidder, and that leaves us, the American people, the voters, who are SUPPOSED to be the people they represent, out in the cold" I live in Pennsylvania and I've watched several state legislators VERY closely and for a very long time. Surviving with their souls intact has been an equal challenge for those at the state level too. I've seen the strongest and most ethical among them being pushed and pulled by big money. Most or them cave in to the money.
