The idea, mentioned by other participants, of developing case studies on PI... What do you to learn from the cases...what do you want them to show?

There are lots of case studies that have been written...but some readers don't find them very helpful. Maybe it would help to have routine documentation/eval/feedback on PI efforts so that EPA can learn as it goes. At the same time this documentation process needs to be simple enough that it is not too burdensome. It would not make a lot of sense to spend so much time on eval that it detracted from the PI effort and/or env improvement. An EPA task force is making a good start at looking at these issues.

This dialogue also has lots of feedback. I wonder how to get these messages beyond the already converted in EPA who see PI as critical.
