I have greatly enjoyed this valuable (for me anyway) learning experience over the past week or so. I have found the range of opinions, agreements, disagreements, input, feedback, etc. very enlightening.

My fervent hope is that EPA truly takes the constructive criticisms to heart and honetsly tries to change what many people see as the old-school culture of doing Community Involvement simply to "check off a box." As one participant alluded to, EPA needs to stop doing "dog & pony shows", and start institutionalizing public participation in order to shape policy and decision-making. Now, whether the EPA chooses to act on every bit of input received at every public meeting, hearing, etc. is a topic for another day, but I look forward to a new era of true, across-the-board, meaningful dialogue between all stakeholders. This is much too important a subject for it to be glossed over.

Thank you all for allowing me to take part, and good luck in all of your endeavors.

Chuck Raymond
