The Bill Moyer Report is accurate. I have lived this report in working for industry all my life, and worked for some, if not all, of the industries in the report.

I have lived in the shadows of industry all my life and worked for industry all my life of 59 years. I have never lived where I could not see multiple flares, smokestacks, and hear and smell industry.

Only a few of us are stupid enough to publically challenge industry and elected officials by doing everything we could to get EPA to come to Calcasieu. EPA is now here in Calcasieu, and you can not imagine how good it feels to know you helped bring a 900 lb. gorilla home to help you.

Our problem now is that local elected officials have had meetings with our congressional delegation in Washington, to try to eject EPA from Calcasieu, and to limit EPA's ability to do EPA's job in Calcasieu. The last congressional meeting on this was last Friday, July 13, 2001.
