While I certainly agree that EPA, both nationally as well as on a regional basis, has come a long way over the past 20 years, I would like to sound a note of caution. I hope you do not use this forum to simply "blow your own horn". There are many people here on Cape Cod that would like to see Region 1 take a much more active role by involving the community pro-actively. Most, if not all, of the pro-active efforts at going out into the community to get their input, concerns, and ideas on how best to deal with the Superfund cleanup have been by the Air Force. Granted, the Air Force efforts are based on CERCLA and other Federal requirements, but I still think that EPA can make itself more visible, active, and accessible down here in many ways.

Those are my 2 cents.
