I think many would agree that ED's Scorecard is much easier to use and more informative than Envirofacts. But it doesn't necessarily follow that EPA should put a lot of time into emulating Scorecard. Why not have EPA focus on improving the quality and timeliness of its data and let groups outside the agency repackage it to meet the needs of the public? Let ED and the industry trade associations battle it out for who provides the highest quality information that people use, trust, etc.
