I agree with the following in the previous post:

"A related area of concern noted in the PIP is that "Science-based decisions prompt application of the Agency's policy on peer review." While "peer review" is certainly important we need to be wary of a technocratic devaluation of the vast wealth that is available in public knowledge."

I noticed the same discrepancy in the PIP. Some of us raised yesterday the issue of community-based knowledge being devalued. Even if it is included it is marginalized and considered less "true" than supposed "scientific" information (and, as noted in someone else's post, industry can fake or buy "scientific" information).

The PIP should clearly and unequivocally extend the PIP to science-based decisions.
