Your point is well taken; we must widen the use of e communications. It can no longer be done by mail or even phone or library work.

Other points seem important as noted below.

1. we vitally need the general purpose work done by your organization and others like it. Your resources help us folks working locally to solve environmental problems.

2. the area of local problems should be viewed as another section that needs most often answers to specific questions, such as databases of public health data for specific toxics.

Our citizen group has used specific data from EPA, EDF Scorecard, etc., plus more general nfo from Paul's group. Both help us to knowing what and how we can handle specific local problems related to our own environmental concern.
