Hello. I join moderator Bob Carlitz, panelists and hosts of this
EPA Dialogue in welcoming you to a discussion on how to improve public involvement in EPA decision-making.

As discussion of each topic continues during the dialogue, I will read each day's postings and create a summary that will appear online the following morning. The purpose of the summaries is to provide a concise synopsis of the highlights of the previous day's postings.

The summaries will offer a quick way for participants to reflect on the discussion. They will also give dialogue observers and others who are interested in the topic an overview of what has been presented.

I am a free-lance writer and editor from Oregon who enjoys the outdoor life for which the Pacific Northwest is famous. I'm looking forward to being a part of this discussion and will be happy to hear your comments on the summaries.
