It would be really nice to be surprised by EPA... Here in Bloomington, we have eternally been told we have public participation in the superfund site processs here.. But what it boils down to is: EPA does what it wants to do and just keeps saying they hear us. I do not recall any instance on any issue where EPA did as we asked, gave us what we need. It just seems so unbelievable this would get any better under Bush. Every bad thing we ever said would happen if EPA went ahead and did what they wanted has happened... We are so thankful we were able to stop the garbage fueled PCB incinerator... I'd welcome real change (it takes courage to show a willingness to change). But I expect a wolf to be a wolf- and I expect EPA to be EPA, and to act accordingly. Therefore, what I really want at this point is to have all my tax monies back, for EPA to go away and to eave us and the earth alone.
