My name is Cynthia Warrick and I have been working on Environmental Justice (EJ) issues since 1995 at Howard University. I participated in EPA's Common Sense Initiative and have worked on EJ, Brownfields, BRAC, and Environmental health and policy issues with numerous offices at EPA. I represent a group of Howard faculty who provide environmental health & justice technical support for impacted communities. We also provide technical expertise for the National Conference of Black Mayors and the National Medical Association's Environmental Health Task Force.

Communities need accurate information so that they can make informed decisions concerning their environment. We provide information and training that makes public participation an equitable process for all stakeholders.
