My name is Judi Kane and I am a Senior Environmental Protection Specialist in EPA's Office of Solid Waste. I have been in OSW for 17 years.
For the past 5 years, I have been in the Communications and Information Resources Management Division and very involved in public access. I am particularly interested in and committed to enhancing the public's awareness of EPA and ensuring public access to EPA information, particularly to the minority communities. To this end, I am currently leading a Hispanic Outreach Initiative. To date, we have conducted a number of focus groups throughout the country and formed a Expert Panel group to advise us on our findings and to assist us in developing a communications strategy specifically for the Hispanic community.
I look forward to participating in this dialogue.
