This has been such a great discussion on so many issues affecting education -- I'd like to invite participants here to continue the "talking" about these and other children's issues at California Voices 4 Children!
California Voices 4 Children is an online community of people committed to the well-being of children and families in California -- sponsored by Action Alliance for Children at http://www.4children.org.
There is a discussion board similar to this one (but ongoing), where folks can share strategies, information, and ideas -- as well as email news bulletins on issues affecting California's children, and an online Master Calendar of conferences and new resources. I encourage folks to check it out!
