  • Topic: Wrap-up

I hope Adult Ed has provided enough anecdotal information to prove to you that we are a very serious and active partner in education. We serve the high school student (after regular school hours), those out of high school looking for a vocation to subsist on while gaining a higher education, those looking to re-train in a new career, enhance work-places skills, or for those wanting the opportunity to learn.

We serve over 1 million students, unduplicated, in mandated training areas and in consumer fee areas.

Our Distance learning programs, ABE, ESL, literacy and so many other sucessful programs reach the underserved and provide a linkage to the community and resources unlocking the gift of learning.

We truly hope to continue our mission of serving anyone who wishes to learn and to provide low cost, excellent state of the art programs to all.

We do not wish to be dissolved. We feel and out students feel we provide a necessary and successful community service. Look around, our students are active, productive citizens and may be serving you.

Thank you,

Holly L, Bennett RN
