Students should be able to "test out" of requirements for degrees and certificates. I have challenged several courses through out my career in stead of taking the course. It would be silly to require a mechanic to take courses on car maintainence and repair when he has learned all the aspects of the classes on the job. How about an aerospace engineer or public accountant having to take basic courses?
