RE: Adult Education

Charles, I'm eager to hear what you think administrative responsibilty means. To my mind, it would move the responsibility for adult education under the community college system and out of the k12 or CDE.  I am not naive enough to believe that wouldn't change how funds are spent, what funds would be dedicated to adult schools rather than moved under the cc credit program,how programs are organized, etc.  I further believe that it would add a bureaucracy not needed.  Your response indicates a lack of awareness re k12/CDE administration.  I am at an absolute loss as to the benefit for students by the move recommended.  I invite you to learn more about the governance of adult education.
