Good Morning Kathleen,
In response to your question, it was certainly the intent of the working group that early educators such as yourself would be involved in defining standards. As you know, our field is very concerned that the CHILD'S DEVELOPMENTAL NEEDS be the starting point for curricula. In fact, some of us are hopeful that the developmental approach will have an upward influence on primary curriculum.
