I agree that adults age 50 and up need computer skills. We have many students each year that must now learn computers to compete in the workforce. It is frightening to be laid-off at this age, facing age discrimination along with outdated skills. The adult schools fill such an important role to ensure that students (of all adult ages) learn skills they need to continue to be productive. We teach them the skills in an environment that is conducive to their learning modalities.
