I agree with Michael who said the "Master Plan should involve some kind of vocational training for students not inclined towards college or an academic route..." I believe that one primary goal of our education system is to ensure that all children are educated to the level where they can become self-sufficient, contributing members of our society. Employability for many children, especially those with learning differences, is a much better measurement of their educational success than the academic testing (STAR and Exit Exam) that we currently offer. We need to value vocations as an honorable alternative college.
