I really think that we have to address each age group differently but there is a very strong curiosity with science in the early years as they come to realize the world around them. It would be helpful if we don't rely on last years' scientific curriculum because in this day and age things change so quickly. We need to give the childrem present day scientific information. Yes we weren't learning about dinosaurs 20 years ago but today we have cloning and stem cell research to teach them about and many other new discoveries. We should be committed to having the children be on top of anything breaking or in the exploratoru phase. Science is one subject that should be updated yearly and then presented in an age appropriate manner.
