RE: Question 1: Technology-What's in the Plan

I agree tha web based instruction is very beneficial for adult learners.  The drive to achieve that is exhibited by adult learners is huge and their time in class could be greatly enhanced by web based lessons. Several programs have used internet access to give additional practice and lessons.  Libraries are a perfect partner for this kind of technology based instruction in as much as they could provide the computers and support for students.  The idea is that if learners learn to be comfortable with technology they will choose their own level of technical involvement as their education progresses.  At the adult level the problem has been sufficient access to computers for the learners.  This is of course an issue of funding.
