RE: The role of Adult Education

Data submitted to the California Department of Education on services for adults shows that the adult education programs serve two-thirds of the adult learners in the state.  Adult Education should be included as one of the mandated delivery systems.  We work with some of the hardest to serve and neediest students through our adult basic education, English As A Second Language, ESL Citizenship, GED, and high school diploma programs.  Our teachers are all credentialed professionals, many with masters, doctorates, and/or advanced training in their areas of expertise.
