Introduction

Hi! I have been involved in some form of teaching since 1972. I have also had several jobs in the business world and am currently employed at Mc Donald's in Cloverdale, California. Today, I read a short article in a local newspaper, The Press Democrat, describing the Master Plan and was immediately interested. I look forward to participating in these discussions as I still work at Cloverdale High School as the School-to-Career and Career Center Coordinators. In my opinion, the secondary education system in our state is a dinosaur and definitely needs to change! Schools have become just like big business. Districts appear to be more concerned about quantity instead of quality - dollars instead of students!
