I have been monitoring the discussion for the past two weeks with a deep
interest. You're questions have been provocative and are helpful from a
policy perspective in learning what the real issues are for you as schools
and libraries.
Today, a group of representatives from the PDE, PUC, Edlinc, and the Office
for Information Technology will be meeting to draft responses to your
questions that can be included in the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs).
It is important to understand that some issues are still being resolved by
the FCC and the Schools and Libraries Corp. - as soon as we have definitive
answers, we will be sure to pass them on to you.
