Meet postponed

Councilman Dan Cohan contacted me late in the day on March 30th to let me know
that the city's TCI franchise renewal consultant cannot fly into Pittsburgh
for the April 1st meeting. Dan was disappointed but wanted to move quickly to
reschedule.

The meeting is going to be rescheduled for April 8th at 12 noon or 1 p.m. I
will get back to you as soon as I know the time.  Sorry for the inconvenience.


ORIGINAL MEETING NOTICE THAT WAS SENT OUT:

Councilman Dan Cohen has arranged a meeting for Thursday, April 1st at 1:00
p.m. at City Council with the city's consultant in reference to the TCI
negotiations. At this meeting we will gain input from the consultant as to
what he thinks is possible relating to the creation of a citywide Inet. 

We also need to talk to the consultant about what is happening in other cities
and to find out if there are good models we can duplicate.
