Here in San Francisco, the Library is collaborating with the school district
to help teachers to integrate technology into their lesson plans. In addition
to providing some interesting activities and educating them about what they
and their students can access with the technology available through the
libraries, we are developing a library media workshop for teachers with the
participation of the San Jose State School of Library Sciences. Eventually,
we plan to facilitate a complete certification program.
50 teachers have signed up for the initial introduction session.
