Sorry if you received this note twice. I had a problem with my e-mail that led me to decide to resend it. This note is to let you know about a shift in the moderator of the evaluation discussion. I will be out of town for 10 days starting tomorrow and I will not have ready access to e-mail while am away. So Larisa Naples , who works with me as a post-doctoral fellow on the evaluation of the Common Knowledge:Pittisburgh project, will be taking over for me as moderator of this group. She is a former teacher (junior high and high school) and both her graduate training and her current work deal with the evaluation of educational programs. So, she will bring a nice melding of the practitioner and researcher perspectives to the discussion. When I was asked to moderate the evaluation discussion it was scheduled to start on March 10 and to end much earlier than it will l now, so I said I could do it - warning the discussion organizers that I would miss a couple of days at the end. Unfortunatley, the shift in the start date of the discussion means that I will miss much more of it. I regret this and greatly look forward to being able to look at the archived messages and to talk with you all at the conference itself. With best wishes for an informative on-line experience.
