I didn't see a response to this portion of Ann's question in reference to women who don't work to raise children...not to mention the number of women who spent their entire lives raising children, then when the kids were grown the marriage ends in divorce and the woman can't possibly accummulate enough earnings or private retirement benefits to even begin to cover the costs of retirement...
