PUBLIC INVOLVEMENT IN EPA DECISIONS

A National Dialogue convened by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency
and hosted by Information Renaissance
with additional support from The William and Flora Hewlett Foundation


Timothy O. Sherer

Mr. Sherer is the Acting Deputy Director for the Office of Cooperative Environmental Management (OCEM). He is also the Program Manager for EPA's Federal Advisory Committee Management Program. OCEM has direct management responsibilities for the operation of four of EPA's federal advisory committees. OCEM also has the strategic oversight responsibilities for all of EPA's twenty four federal advisory committees. Mr. Sherer is an instructor in the General Service Administration course on the Federal Advisory Committee Act. He has 24 years of federal government service as a Naval Officer, Contracting Officer, and work in federal advisory committees. Mr Sherer has a Masters of Business Administration from the George Washington University and is a Certified Professional Contracts Manager.
